Your kit contains:
pot
cup
set of three 90cm cordon
set of three 225cm cordon
To start, here is the knot that will be used throughout the tutorial:
the twisted knot
Use the 2 outer cordon :
With the left thread: pass it in front of the 2 inner threads and in the gap to bring it behind the thread positioned on the right.
With the right thread: pass it behind the 2 inner threads and in the gap to bring it back in front of the thread positioned on the left.
With the thread now positioned on the left: pass it in front of the 2 inner threads and in the gap to bring it behind the right thread.
With the thread positioned on the right: pass it behind the 2 inner threads and in the gap to bring it back in front of the left thread. To squeeze.
Continue to desired length
Step 1: Position the wires on the cup
Pass the short wire through one of the holes in the cup.
Balance to have the same length on each side.
Iron once to create a loop and consolidate.
Do the same with a long yarn.
Repeat this on all three holes.
Step 2: Braiding
Start braiding with the twist knot.
The length is communicated to you with your suspension (each pot is unique and I therefore adapt the dimensions accordingly).
Repeat on all three groups of strands.
Step 3: add the pot
Pass a long strand and a short strand through one of the holes in the pot.
Gather the two short strands in the center.
Braid 2 twisted knots.
Step 4: Assemble the ropes
Measure 20 cm from the base of one of the ropes.
Climb in twisted knots up to 25 cm.
Repeat on the other 2 strings.
Step 5: Group the codings
Group the short strands in the center.
Group the long strands into two groups of three strands.
Rise about 7 cm in twisted knots
Step 6: Form the loop
Fold the loop in half
Wedge the short strands in one of the hollows of the twist.
Make two or three twist knots, keeping the strands short and the main twist in the center. You should tie the long strands around the twist/short strand set.
Cut the excess short threads flush. You should only have the long strands left.
Make another two or three knots
Finishes
Take a large needle (can be done without a needle but it will be easier) and slip it under several knots from bottom to top (see photo 1).
Insert a group of long strands into the needle and slide it to pass the threads under the knots.
Do the same with the second group of long strands.
Take pliers to pull on the long strands. Tighten each strand quietly (be careful if you pull too hard at once the strand may break) to strengthen the whole.
Cut the excess threads
And There you go !
All you have to do is pot
one of your most beautiful plants!
